XYZ Free View MÖBIUS
The torus knot 8₁₉, built as XYZ Free View — the strand deliberately pulled open so the eye can follow the complete loop of steel all the way around. The compact, fully-closed form of the same knot — lovely to look at, but impossible to trace — was not built; it has its own page: XYZ. Standing in front of the open form, following the steel is the whole pleasure. Its enantiomer — the mirror image of this chiral 8₁₉ knot, realised as separate work — is number-5. The same knot type is realised by a separate work — why-not is the same 8₁₉ knot, an independent embedding (kept as distinct works, not a duplicate). This loop closes as a Möbius band: the square tube arrives back with a quarter turn — one edge, one surface. Measured on the steel itself (a tape led along one face returns on the neighbouring face) and confirmed on the computed centerline (frame holonomy +84°, closest square-tube closure: a quarter turn).
