A computed knot design by W.A.Stanggassinger, shown here as a 3D rendering, with verified knot identity. The piece itself has been cut to length and lies on the welding table — no seam welded yet.

Dimensions: 152 × 90 × 172 cm · Weight approx. 200 kg

.fseries is printed as the knot diagrams lying on the welding table; beside them, the stainless-steel square-tube segments, freshly cut to length — the curve is built from straight pieces, nothing is bent. From here they are tacked and TIG-welded into the finished piece (152 × 90 × 172 cm, about 200 kg). One frame holding both ends of the work — the mathematics and the metal.
