A six-fold connected sum of trefoils — 3₁#3₁#3₁#m3₁#m3₁#m3₁ — three right-handed and three left-handed, that is, the square knot three times over. Its Alexander polynomial is (t²−t+1)⁶, bit-exact; the handedness is carried by the signature σ=0, not by the Alexander polynomial or the determinant, which are both blind to it.
