KNOT STRUCTURES — CORPUS DOWNLOAD (2026-07-09)
Werner Stanggassinger (sculptor) + Claude Code (Anthropic)
https://knot-structures.stainlesssteel4u.de/

WHAT THIS IS
  508 knots, each given as
    <name>.fseries — the Fourier centerline of the knot's space curve
    <name>_complete_invariants.json     — curated invariants + PD code(s) + consistency checks
  A growing catalogue of (mostly hyperbolic) knots, many outside the standard
  crossing-number tables. The stainless-steel sculptures are the same objects,
  realised physically.

HOW TO VERIFY (nothing here was computed by an AI)
  The invariants come from established software (SnapPy, SageMath, Regina, knotpy).
  Each *_complete_invariants.json carries the PD code(s); recompute any invariant
  yourself with those tools. We drive the tools; we do not replace them.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
  The identification / on-demand generation pipeline (the "scanner") is not part of
  this download. This is the output corpus, not the machine that produces it.

CORPUS AT A GLANCE (live source of truth: the site + corpus_db.meta)
  total records 784 (machine 765 + own 19);
  built_at 2026-07-05T12:11:53.687416.
